Is making your own laundry soap worth it?

I just finished my 5th or 6th batch of Laundry soap. I think it's well worth it. On my first batch, I knew I'd have to do something different. I grate or sc the bars, then I put the coarse powder in my small food processor. It's kindof like the"Bullitt". I only put about 3/4 C. in it at a time. It makes it as fine as baby powder.
