Help if u are good with computers or play pc games? please!!?

ok my computer had a virus so we had to get it fixed and everything was wiped. but i personaly asked the guy fixing it to save my sims memory (i had gotten rlly far and i cud neva get it) so he did because the ea games file and all the details for the sims are still inside it. but the actual game had to be uninstalled. i have all the necessary files but how do i make sure they are in the right place if u get what i mean? any help will do plz?
