Christians what do you tell people who are losing their homes?

Does God have a plan for them that includes them living in a terrible neighborhood or homeless or do you tell them how God's grace can bless their life & help them stay in their home by a program or some other way grace will show up & keep them uplifted. Please, tell me about this cause I could possibly be facing this if something doesn't change in my life quickly.
