Best internet provider in my area?

hi i currently have comcast and it is horrible by me. Always drops connection and just not effeciently connected to internet. I live in the Oak brook/ Dowers grove area (Suburb of Chicago, IL) and i was wondering who provides the fastest and most effecient internet? I was thinking maybe Direct TV (dont know about internet but does have great TV). Thanks max points!
